I know training camp is still in session this week but for me and the girls down here it is over. This year has been the most fun for sure. Meeting up and hanging out with all my MYCOLTS friends has been the best.
I have so many memories this year. Saying "Good morning" to Dallas each time we were there, watching Janell's face light up when she saw Bob Sanders for the first time, seeing Sherry get a hug from Hunter Smith and Bill & and I (plus 20 or so) watching Sanders workout all alone. Watching all my rookie camp friends getting their first autograph, for some that was coach, what a treat.
The 2 parties at the KOA. Two very different kinds of parties. Meeting Scaner for the first time after chatting with her for 6 months and the sisters Cyndi & Heather, what a trip. there were a lot of "netters" I meet for the first time at or with camp.
The best night for me was last Thursday when I saw my kicking team slip away to go to the small field and followed them. Watching Hunter play with his little boy was so cute. Meeting and talking with his wife Jen was nice. In just a few minutes it was like we were all old friends.
Yes once again camp had been covered with pixie dust for me and I got to be with my guys a few times.
So now the season starts and you guys up in Indy get to have them. I will probably not get to see a game for many reasons.
I get camp every year and that is fine with me. Thanks to all those who shared it with me either at camp or through the pics we all took. Next year will be bigger and better. Party at the KOA 2009 is gonna rock!
