: I don't know about you but I am jumping out of my skin. In about 50 hours our team will take the field for the first public pratice of the season and my sisters and I will be there. We have gone to opening day of camp for the past 6 years and I love it. Camp has grown so big as far as fans coming to watch. No lie I remember one year,(ok little note, I am not a fan who remembers details from yr to yr like what yr who came on the team or what our record was 5 yrs ago) maybe his second yr with the team, Marvin Harrison was taking a water break and me, my sister and her son were just chatting with him. Ricky was about 12 maybe and he played football so he was asking Marvin things like how old was he when he knew that he really wanted to play, how much does he work out and how much can he bench press? Things a young fan would ask and we were just chatting. Or the year I got a (don't hate me) VANDERJAGT #12 jursey and he changed his number to 13. I was standing there in #12 and he says nice shirt and I called him a big hoser for changing his number. He came over to me and we chatted for a while. Or the year after we lost the play off game because "coach" Mora desided to let time run out and make Vanderjagt kick into the wind at the start of over time instead of with the wind to win the game. Remember that yr? Ok the first day of camp that summer my sister yells at him, " Coach! Come here I wanna ask you something. So he comes over to her and a lot of fans were all standing around. Walks up all smiles and happy. She says I just have one question. He's going sure what is it? She says, what the f*@k were you thinking that last game??" People started claping, laughing, high fiving. It was a scream. He of course turns red and takes off before we tar and feather his butt. Now there are so many fans at camp the players can't get to everyone who wants a photo or autograph.Let alone have a chat. I guess thats the price you pay for improvement. We were not very good in those years as far as win/loss record but man was camp fun. At camp time every team is the same. Full of hope and excitement. Thinking they put together the team to beat this year. I love training camp. Last year there were so many fans there and I know this year will have even more and thats ok. Its fun to talk to other fans too. We'll bethere by 7 Monday morning showing off our tattoos if you see me say hi, I'm the over weight youngest one, Cathy

Looks like I am going to miss out on seeing the tattoo in person. Not going to make it to camp until wednesday.
