Saturday morning, got up with the sun(see photo album) picked up my sisters and headed north. We got to camp just before the players took the field. Found a great seat in the stands and left my sister Sherry (Cmytattoo) to hold our spot while Janell (Colts92) and I went to the area where the players came out. As they came out we shouted "Good morning...... insert player's name here". We stood and watched them warming up for a bit them took our seats.

Again Dallas Clark looked like a 10 yr old in cub football. That man truly loves his job and is really happy to be there. He came running out gave a big smile and a wave to those of us standing there, jumped on a guys back and knocked  his sun glasses off his head, picked them up and jogged on to his next target, Hunter Smith whom he high fived and then took his place to warm up.

It was a short work out only 40 mins. The special teams had to come back for an afternoon session but everyone else was off Saturday afternon and all have Sunday off.

While the players are on the field they are not allowed to respond to us fans yelling at them to turn around after all they are at work. No one gets to come to my work and while my boss is giving me my job duties, yell and take pictures of me so we must remember these men are at their jobs.  Altho they have public jobs and we are invited so while we try to be respectful we love to have fun with them. We like to yell at the player to see if we can get them to respond.
I took a pic of Reggie Wayne waving to us. He was sitting on the bench looking ahead but waved to let us know he knew we were there. We yelled, "Happy Birthday Hunter!"  his birthday was Thursday but the team was a little busy that day.  We also yelled, "Hey Mr. Addai" and he even turned around while sitting on the bench (he didn't get the memo).
I got a lovely shot of Dallas making a catch right in front of me and after practice the kicking team went to the autograph tent to sign. The line got cut off before we got to them but we were allowed to get close and take a few pictures. I got a couple really good ones that had to be cropped and zoomed but I made them work and a great shot of Justin Snow. We talked to the guys for a few mins and they were joking around with us and each other. Please view my photo album from today.
The weather was not too bad and it was a good day. Not even a ton of fans were there. Just a good, light fun kinda day. I love camp cause I feel like the players are "mine" for just those few weeks. I don't get to go to many games and camp is "my time". This Saturday the 18th will be the last time I get to have them for this year. My sisters and I have been going for so many years some of the players remember us. We are a lot of fun and like to joke with them but never disrespectiful or rude (least I hope not).   Soon my time will be over and the season will start. The guys will belong to the lucky ones who get to go to the dome and play with the "blue people" as we call them. I will have a few good pictures, lots of good time with my sisters and many memories. We often play the what is your favorite camp memory? game and this year I have added a few more.

Thanks for keeping my secret. Camp is special to me, too. Mostly because I get to be with my sissies and see our buddies on the field. Good job, Aunt Cathy.
