Your friends aren’t on any friendlist(s) unless you create the list(s) and put them there.

Friends and friendlists are not the same. Friends are anyone that you have linked to as a friend.
Friendlists are something that you create to
(1) Control what different people see on your profile page.
(2) Message
For example, if two of your ‘friends’ are on the same ‘friendlist’, when they visit your profile, they will see just two friends (each other) in your MyFriends section and any other content on your profile that you have filtered using this friendlist.
