Help
Thank you for your feedback on (and patience with) the following changes to the site this past week.  With your input, we are planning future enhancements to the site.
  • Order Friends: Removed from the site
  • Messaging Groups: Only available to the group moderator.
  • Auto Messages Removed:  Users will no longer receive a message when someone has removed them from their friendlist or added them to their block list.
  • Forgot Password: You can now reset your password on the homepage. To do so, you must be able to answer your security question. The security answer is still case sensitive so, you must remember exactly how you entered it when you registered.

If you have trouble with password reset or have forgotten your username, you can still email issues@colts.nfl.net for assistance.

  • Newsletter Manager: Removed from the site.  If you want to be added to the MyColts Community Newsletter, please message the Help user.
  • Photo Upload: Browse local is the primary method to upload and includes instructions.
  • Notifications:  Your dashboard now includes notification of Profile Comments.  When you receive a profile comment, you will see a link.  Clicking the link will take you to your comment manager where you can read your profile comments as well as remove comments and post your own.
  • View Public Profile:  The friendlist drop down and view button were removed from the dashboard because they did not give accurate views of your public or friendlist-filtered profile.  You can get to your profile page view the preview profile link on the My Managers page or by typing the url for your mycolts page.

We appreciate everyone’s suggestions and patience as we work to make mycolts.net a fun place for everyone.

If you have questions or suggestions please, feel free to message the Help user or email: issues@colts.nfl.net

I could never get my friendslist "order friends" to work, but it would be GREAT if we had one that did work!!

Removing "order friendslist" was just plain stupid!!! You need to fix it, and like yesterday!!! That's how we have easy access to the friends we contact most, and it needs to be expanded to more than 16 displayed. Blog, profile and photo comments should NOT appear in messages. Messages should be just that, MESSAGES! Go ahead and block mass messaging to groups. let the moderator approve them, but don't block postings of any kind to the group page, and I must add MASSCOLTSCLUB is for people who WANT to receive messages to the entire group. You should make accomodations for that-Let the moderator make those decisions, and make the policies of the group visible on the group page!!! Why can't I access my profile page from my dashboard anymore, and why, before, did it show info that wasn't actually visible to the public(IE, name and cell phone #)? It seems to me that you are responding to a few PART TIME FANS who can't figure out how to use the delete button, and not thinking about those of us that are true fans, and spend many hours everyday on this net. HOW HARD IS IT??? set up new tabs for blog comments , photo comments, and profile comments. As far as order friendslist, click and drag has been around for as long as I've had a computer-if you can't figure that one out, you REALLY don't know what you're doing!!! Is this network set up offshore with the people who make these decisions making 75 cents an hour for 12 hour days? If so, I will gladly log off and keep in contact with my friends by other means!!!

Hey gordon, thanks for the feedback. The mycolts messages for profile comments was turned off early in the evening. Are you still getting them? The order friendlist was removed because, although it worked some times for some people, it didn't work for most people and was a source of frustration for many users (and complaints for us). Non moderators can no longer message through groups because it was a source of spam. You are right that we have functionality that we should add to groups. But for now the best way to notify the group of a posting is to use the group's forum. By way of explanation, most social networks don't allow non moderator messages through groups. In fact, in many even the moderator cannot message the group at all. We tried it and found that it was a source of spam. We do plan on adding ways to help connect you guys so that you are notified when there are new things posted. In the mean time, we appreciate your ideas (and patience).

These changes have only been online for about a half a day but I must say I don't care for any of them - I do not see where they have IMPROVED anything in fact quite the opposite.

The comment notifications tend to fill up the inbox unneccessarily whenever several comments are made on your bolgs and/or profile pages, almost like spamming. Don't know why you would get rid of the "order friends", this feature was great for keeping those fans you stayed in touch with the most up front on the dashboard and could tell when they were on line. Please put it back on. Don't know how we can now contact all our group friends unless we go through the moderator - seems like this is just one more reason NOT to have groups at all if we can't correspond directley to all in the group at once. Sure puts a burden on the moderator too.

Thanks for the info. The changes you guys made were very nice.

Yes the link to get to your profile was removed from the dashboard because it said it showed your public profile. It did not, it showed everything you have, which caused many people to be concerned that their email address etc......was viewable to the public. Right now, you can get to your preview profile link by going to My Managers.
