President Obama
I may not agree with his politics, but I want to congratulate him on such a major historic accomplishment. Our country has gone from one where people of color were seen as property, to where they were 'free' yet faced horrible discrimination (to put it mildly), to a nation that has just elected its first African American President. That is huge! So, congratulations, President-elect Obama. I wish him well. This is a difficult time and these are unique challenges facing this nation, not the easiest time for someone to take on this job. He will need our prayers, as will this nation. Let's hope he can deliver on his many promises of a better America, and his promises of working with people across the aisle to put partisan politics aside and do what is best for our nation. Lastly, I just want to say what an honor it is to live in this country, where we are all given a chance to have our voices heard! How many people in this world would love to have that opportunity? My name is Kimberly. Let's see...I never know what to say on these things. Well, I am basically a simple person who values faith, family, friends, and football! The Colts are hands-down my favorite team. (That goes without saying, though.) I live about 50 miles west of Indianapolis.

Church. With friends or family. In the autumn months I love to go to the local festivals (especially the Covered Bridge Festival!), and in the spring I love to go mushroom hunting! (Maybe you have to be a local to understand that. LOL)

It's always so difficult filling these things out. I never know what to say. Let's see...well, I love to read, and my favorite book is Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen. I also love movies of all genres, tv, and travelling. Some of my favorite shows are The Andy Griffith Show, Ghost Hunters, Lost, Jericho, Survivor, and American Idol. Another thing that is very important to me is my faith. I attend a local Baptist church, which I enjoy very much. And, of course, I love football, with the Colts being my favorite team! (As if I needed to say that!)
