Listening to Whiners.. not just those in San Fran (3 Ratings)

Posted 11-2-2009 by colts1819

I have been reading posts about the whiners in San Fran, that gave me food for thought here in Browns country. Every time I watch the news all I hear about is how the fans here are ready to give up on their team. This upsets me for a few reasons; 1.  I believe that once you are a fan of a team who should stick with that team even though it's hard to go through all the losses. 2. They won't give their team any time to get in sync with each other. Peyton even knows how important it is too get in sync with his receivers. 3. They are ready to fire anybody and everybody. Can you image if every time Peyton or Mr. Dungy lost in the regular season or the playoffs we called for their head we wouldn't have the Super Bowl win. I guess what I am really getting at is THANK YOU COLTS FOR NOT GIVING US REASONS TO WHINE LIKE OTHER FANS!!!!! Even when our QB has a bad day it is for 300 yds. So thanks Colts fans for listening to my venting. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sticking by my team. Nobody or no team is gonna be perfect. You just have to stick with it and hope it gets better. I dont want the Colts to be bad but i would like to see how many fans continue to be fans during down times. Hopefully we  never get a chance to figure that out

Last year when we started to struggle I figured "oh well its gonna be a bad year" no whining. I figured we had been spoiled by all the long term perfect starts!

If you pick a team stick with them bad n good! and have a nice cup of shut up! :)

IT'S HUMAN NATURE TO WANT TO BE A WINNER BUT IT GOES AGAINST THE GRAIN WHEN YOU GIVE UP ON YOUR CHOSEN TEAM. WHEN ONE DOES THAT THEY ARE NOT A TRUE FAN.  THOSE WHO LIVE IN OR NEAR THEIR TEAM SHOULD JUST BE GLAD THEY HAVE A TEAM THEY CAN SUPPORT AND CHEER FOR IN GOOD AS WELL AS LEAN YEARS.

the  jaguars fans  are  whining  because  the  jaguars lost to the titans.i don't think the  jaguars  will have any  sold  out  games.and i live here. i won't be  surprised if the game here  against the jaguars isn't sold out.it usually attracts people being the  colts.the local team have been whining and pouting the past couple  years.

I don't understand why anyone would say that they are going to give up on their team. Many fans go through the lean years and enjoy the good years. But never give up on them. When the colts went 1-15 I supported them every week cheering them on . It's not about the stats it’s the love of the game and your team. So sorry to be them but they should be blessed they got a team back.

Go Colts................ True Blue...........

Oh last year at 3-4 there was plenty of whining going on here, I was like come on people we have Peyton and Dungy. I have been a Colts fan since 1984 and remember 1-15 it sucks but sticking it out made it all worth it Jan 07!

Sadly, there are Colts fans who do that.  I haven't seen many here, but the whining is exactly why I don't frequent other Colts sites.  There's no pleasing some people.  I'm convinced we could pull off a 19-0 Superbowl season and they'd STILL find something wrong that doesn't even matter.

ya, and he did not throw an INT either.  So, he does not throw a TD? Manning did not have a bad day at all.  He moved the ball just fine.

AMEN! I agree

The thing I can't respect is having whiners tell me how the COLTS suck and how the Niners " almost beat them"...

really?? REEEEEEEEEEALLY???? I mean cmon at least be intellectually honest here!

If we were losing I'd still bleed blue, talk a lil smack but totally would know when I'm way out numbered by stats!!
