My newspaper article on the Stadium
There will be no question to any visitor that Lucas Oil Stadium is the home of the Colts! The stadium is tastefully personalized as itmeticulously blends football and racing themes.
From the outside the stadium looks finished, but there are many details yet to be finished, including those on the retractable roof and the exterior enclosure. The Goal posts are installed and turf installation continues. Testing is also continuing on the scoreboards and the ribbon boards -which are awesome, by the way!Crews are nearing completion of the installation of the fixed seating, east telescopic seating, and the disabled seating platforms.
As installation is wrapping up on signage, plumbing, fire protection, carpeting, tiles, and many more systems, other crews are repairing equipment damaged by the broken storm piping. The projected completion for the stadium is August 2008.
