| About Me |
|
I consider myself a True Blue Colts Fan. I have been since 1987.
What?
Not since 1984 when they came to Indy or even before, when they were in Baltimore?
I was raised in Hazlewood, Mo. and moved here to Indy as a child in the 1970’s. My dad was a true St. Louis Cardinals Fan and I would watch and even went to several Cardinals games with him and my Uncles. When The Colts did come to Indy, I began to watch and root for them as my friends were all into them as Indy now has an NFL Team. I would watch and root for Cardinals and Colts. In 1987 when the Cardinals moved, my Dad and I kind of blew them off as we were actually becoming Colts Fans as we have become more established as Hoosiers by now.
It has been Colts ever since.

| Favorite Places to Hangout |
|
My wife and I had our days and “Our Hangouts”, but we have come to settle down; what with 6 kids and all. I mainly hang out in front of my desk and computer or in what we call “The Game Room”, where I have turned one side of our 4 car garage into. Which would include a pool table, foos ball table, bar, weights and bench set, stereo and T.V. (need to hook Cable up to it) and of course nothing but Colts memorabilia!

Walking Wounded
The Indianapolis Colts are going to limp into training camp this year. With about three weeks to go before the Colts report to Terre Haute, it appears reigning Defensive Player-of-the-Year Bob Sanders (shoulder) and three-time All-Pro Dwight Freeney (foot) will most likely be on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list when camp opens. To make matters worse, linebacker Tyjuan Hagler (who is expected to start at the Sam LB spot) tore a pec muscle lifting weights this week and is also expected to miss the start of training camp. The good news is that all three should be ready for the start of the regular season, but it's never a good thing to miss time with your teammates in training camp.

the 2008 supplemental draft, which had tentatively been scheduled for next week, has been cancelled. "No one applied at the time of the deadline," 49ers general manager Scot McCloughan confirmed Thursday. The NFL sent out a memo to all 32 teams informing them of the announcement Wednesday. Nine players have been selected in the supplemental draft over the past decade, including Chargers Pro Bowl nose guard Jamal Williams.
ISCBA ANNOUNCES LUCAS OIL STADIUM GRAND OPENING EVENTS
INDIANAPOLIS ISCBA (Press Release) – The Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority (ISCBA) today announced a series of events to celebrate the grand opening of Lucas Oil Stadium (LOS). Most notable among them is the public ribbon-cutting ceremony and opportunity for the public to tour the Stadium on Saturday, August 16 on the Stadium’s northside exterior at 9:30 a.m.
This historic occasion will be officiated by Governor Mitch Daniels, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and other dignitaries and participants involved with the project. Following the ribbon-cutting, the public is invited by the ISCBA and the Capital Improvement Board (CIB, the entity that will operate the building) to take a self-guided tour of the Stadium during three sessions: at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. The event will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
The Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority announced a number of events that will celebrate the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium.
From free stadium tours, to high school football games, to a country music concert and the Colts season opener. The celebration kicks off in just a few months.
On August 16, the public will be able to see the stadium for the first time.
The tour will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only will you be able to walk the concourses, but you can also check out the locker rooms and even go down on the field and touch the turf.
"These are going to be parts of the building the general public would not normally get to see and I think that will attract a large number of people," said David Frick the chairman of ISCBA.
In order to get ready for the Colts first pre-season game on August 24, six high school football games will be played here on the two days prior.
The Colts will play two pre-season games before their September 7 season opener against the Bears.
Then six days later, the football stadium will host its first major concert with Kenny Chesney and LeAnn Rimes.
The opening few weeks are filled with activities, a sure sign the facility will be used by many for the masses.
Tickets for the free stadium tour are available beginning July 14. Only four tickets per person will be available at Ticketmaster.
The first event inside Lucas Oil Stadium, the 9th Annual Peyback Classic high school football games will be televised on our sister station MyNDY, on August 22 at 6 p.m.

Injury shelves Colts' Hagler
07/01/2008
Indianapolis Colts linebacker and Kankakee native Tyjuan Hagler will be out "a couple months" after tearing a pectoral muscle while working out last week, Hagler said in a phone interview this morning.
Hagler, a Bishop McNamara High School graduate, will miss training camp and could be out for the Colts' Sunday night regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 7 in Indianapolis.
Hagler hasn't decided whether or not he'll have surgery to repair the muscle.
"Me and my agent are working on it right now, deciding what the best option for me is," he said.
Hagler started seven regular-season games and the Colts' AFC Divisional Playoff game last season and was expected to be a starter at strongside linebacker this year.
He signed a one-year contract extension worth $1.4 million during the offseason. Without another extension, he will be unrestricted free agent in 2009.

Colts release 5 players from roster
The Indianapolis Colts official website reports the Colts, in an effort to reduce their roster toward the 80-player limit mandated by a new NFL rule, terminated the contract of one veteran player and waived four others, the club announced on Monday. The Colts terminated the contract of P Chad Stanley, a nine-year NFL veteran who has spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans.
The Colts also waived first-year RB Justise Hairston (Central Connecticut State), rookie DT Dan Davis (Connecticut), first-year C Pat Ross (Boston College) and first-year PK Shane Andrus (Murray State). Andrus signed with the Colts for the third straight year in April
Andrus also was with the Colts in 2006 and 2007 but lasted until training camp both times. He signed with New York in January but was waived in February after the Super Bowl win over New England, and rejoined Indianapolis two weeks later.
The Colts open camp in Terre Haute on July 24.
