Huge news out of Houston is that Texans starting TE Owen Daniels is done for the season due to a torn knee ligament. He tore it in the Texans second possession yesterday in their 31-10 win over the Buffalo Bills. The Texans as we all know are our next opponent, and we also play them again in the season, so with this injury, how does the Colts defense change up when playing the Texans? What does this mean for the Texans? How will the Texans replace a good TE such as Owen Daniels? This year Daniels has had 40 catches for 519 yards, and a team-high 5 TD receptions. For more info on the injury to Daniels, and the TE the Texans will be using for him, go to http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d813d9a0a&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true.
bad news for them
LETS GO COLTS!
Personally - my first thought upon hearing this news - is that Dallas Clark just moved ANOTHER step closer to his first Pro Bowl berth !!
I think that Matt Schaub just lost his "security blanket" !! It will be interesting to see WHAT Coach Gary Kubiak comes up with to replace Daniels productivity in the Texans offense.
That is a huge blow for the Texans' offense. I just read that they are going to a 3 running back system, which I'm sure is partly because of the loss of Daniels, and the play of Moats over the weekend.
Schaub still has Andre Johnson, but now we can maybe double him and focus more on stopping the run, because they will have fresh backs in there on each play.
You hate to hear about an injury that side lines a player like that on any team.
I agree Trueblue..
Looked like a painful injury and being athletic myself, nothing is worse then having to sit out and watch when your highly competitive and driven
The value of consistent prayer is not that He will hear us, but that we will hear Him.Jesus is Lord, what else do you need to know?
